Seniors! Inc. caregiver helps bring back mom's sunny
disposition.
The definition of a caregiver goes far beyond keeping seniors safe
and providing necessary physical care. Anyone who has a loved one
who is getting older and need more help and support understands
that caring connections make all the difference.
Sandra, who lives in Chicago, doesn't get to see her mother,
Evelyn, as often as she would like. But Evelyn keeps in touch
through letters, writing her daughter two to four times a week.
When the letters turned dark, Sandra knew her mother was having
problems and turned to Seniors Inc. for help. That is when Renae
began visiting and working with Evelyn and the results have been
remarkable.
Sandra recently visited her mother and met Renae. "I was very
impressed. She is loving, friendly, helps my mother with some basic
household chores, but mostly gives my mother her undivided
attention and engages her in conversation. It has made all the
difference. In a way, she's given me back my mother."
